| | Skip German Shepherd Dog, Belgian Shepherd Dog Sheepdog Mix Skip is very special to all of us at Friends Forever. He was rescued as a young adult. He had been tied to a tree and left when his family moved away. They wanted to dock his tail so they put a rubberband on it. Skip's tail was docked by this slow, painful method. When we rescued Skip he was pitiful and frightened. He would not even let us touch him. Gradually with food reinforment and gentle coaxing we helped him learn to trust. He is now a handsome, proud fellow. You can see his heart through his eyes. He is a black German Shepherd Belgian mix. He is neutered, crate trained, current on all vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. He loves the company of other dogs and would be a great playmate. Skip weighs about 65 lbs. and was born in February 2000. He is a remarkable testament to the forgiving nature of man's best friend.
Our adoption process includes an application, an initial visit, a trial home visit before you commit to adopt and an adoption contract with $75.00 adoption fee as well as follow-up after placement. Thank you so very much for your interest in adopting Skip. | |
